Cindy
Owner
After an apprenticeship with Bruce Bart in Tannersville, NY, Cindy began working at Peter Tat2 in West Hempstead, NY in 1981. During that time, she was extremely lucky to work beside some amazing artist, including Marguerite, Cindy Burmeister, Mike Ledger, Mike Bruno, Peter Poulos, Richie Montgomery and so many others. In 1993, she left Peter Tat2 to pursue the dream of having her own tattoo business, which would cater to custom work. Many years later, Cindy continues to create beauty on skin and enjoys surrounding herself with new, talented artists who call Twin Moon home.
Richie Montgomery
Richie has been tattooing for 50+ years and worked alongside Peter Poulos at Peter Tat2. He later opened his own shop Tattooing by Richie in Elmont and was open for 47 years before having to close shop due to the pandemic. Not ready for retirement just yet he decided to join Twinmoon and work alongside Cindy once more. While Richie’s tattoo style is very versatile he does specilize in American Traditional.

Erv
Erv has been tattooing for 15+ years and have worked at Peter Tat2 and 223 Tattoo. For the past 5 years he has worked alongside Cindy here at Twin Moon. Erv specializes in anything black and grey especially realism. He also does custom lettering.
Mary Montgomery
Mary has been piercing for 25+ years and was trained to pierce by Jim Ward, the granddad of the modern body piercing movement. She worked as a piercer along side her husband at the shop they owned in Elmont and came to Twinmoon after that shop closed.
Mary does not do septum, micro/surface dermals and genital piercings.
Carolyn
Carolyn has been in the tattoo industry since 2010 and finished her apprenticeship in 2012. She specializes in mainly American traditional tattoos but also loves to do organic subject matter such as flowers and hand-drawn lettering. No matter what the tattoo, her main goal is to take the clients vision and turn it into a timeless piece of work to last a lifetime. No matter the size, she prides herself on being able to execute each and every idea to the individual themselves.
Mickey
she/they
Mickey started working in the industry in 2019 and finished her apprenticeship in 2021. She specialize in anime and full color tattoos. Overall their style tends to be more “cartoony and cute”/Kawaii. Mickey loves meeting new people and her room is always a LGBTQIA+ friendly space. Junior Artists
Luke
Luke started his apprenticeship at Twin Moon in November of 2021. He has since graduated and his style is mostly American traditional but he is open to other styles as well.
Ziare
Ziare started his apprenticeship at Twin Moon in February of 2022. He has recently graduated and is now taking clients. He specializes in stipple art and his tattoo style is mostly illustrative but he is open to other styles as well.
Shop Mascot
Moose
Moose is our shop mascot. He is an 12 year old mastiff/pitbull mix that loves butt scratches and pets. Moose is very friendly and on some days can be found lounging around in the shop next to his dad Erv.
